Mars in Leo: April 18 – June 17

Mars has entered Leo, and from now until mid-June, we’re moving through a series of sharp, hot alignments. This isn’t a peaceful transit. It’s bold, brash, and highly visible. Every move made between now and June 17 will be remembered, either for its impact, or for its fallout.

Now through May 4: Mars opposes Pluto

We’re already in the thick of it. Mars in Leo is now opposing Pluto in Aquarius, and will stay in that tension through May 4. This is the final pass in a longer pattern that’s been building since late 2024. This is power standing face to face with pride. It’s not theoretical. You’ll see it play out in public conflict, in leadership struggles, in authority pushing back hard against individual will.

Nothing about this is clean. It’s pressure and retaliation. For some, this will mark the end of a long resistance. For others, it’s the beginning of something harder.

May 15–21: Mercury square Mars

Communications turn sharp. Mercury in Taurus squares Mars in Leo, and words carry weight. Arguments that started privately will become public. Messaging gets forceful. Don’t mistake volume for clarity. If you say it, you’ll have to stand behind it.

May 15–June 1: Venus trine Mars

At the same time, Venus in Aries forms a trine to Mars. This isn’t ease,it’s attraction through tension. Relationships heat up, creative work gets a pulse, and conflict becomes a bonding agent. There’s fire here, but not always stability. It’s good for impact, not for gentleness.

June 2–8: Mercury and Jupiter sextile Mars

This is the fast-talking window. Mercury and Jupiter in Gemini sextile Mars in Leo. Plans move quickly, stories grow louder, and ambition expands. If you’ve got something to pitch, perform, or say boldly, this is when people are listening. Just watch for exaggeration. Not everything that sounds big is solid.

June 8–17: Final square to Uranus

The final stretch of this transit hits hard. Mars in Leo squares Uranus in Taurus from June 8 to 17. This is the last Mars–Uranus square while Uranus is still in Taurus, closing a cycle that’s been disrupting global supply chains, economies, and ecological patterns since 2018.

This one won’t be subtle. It’s action that collides with instability. The kind of square that flips tables. If something’s volatile, this is where it cracks.

Mars in Leo doesn’t ask for permission. It makes its presence known. But this season isn’t just about ego. It’s about what you do with visibility when pressure builds.
