Full Moon in Scorpio — May 12, 2025
This one is not subtle. The Full Moon lands in Scorpio at 22°, and it’s directly opposing Uranus at 26° Taurus. That alone tells you what kind of lunation this is: volatile, pressurized, and meant to trigger something that’s already been building.
If you have planets or angles between 18° and 26° of the fixed signs (Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, Aquarius), you’re in range. This one will hit hard.
This is not a private full moon. Scorpio usually keeps things under the surface, but Uranus opposite the Moon doesn’t allow containment. Expect disruptions around control, exposure, privacy, money, and emotional leverage. If something breaks open here, it’s not new, it’s just finally undeniable.
At the same time, Mercury in Taurus is squaring Pluto retrograde in Aquarius. That’s sharp, stubborn speech clashing with buried systems of power. People will try to keep their messaging calm and composed. It won’t work. The square makes it obvious where power is being hoarded and where people are getting cut off.
This is a full moon to pay attention to what’s being revealed, not what’s being said. The instinct will be to clamp down, hold control, stay fixed. That’s not going to hold. Something’s going to shake loose.
Aries Rising
Full Moon in your 8th house, Uranus in the 2nd.
Tension around shared finances, debt, or power dynamics. Something you’ve relied on, money, trust, or someone else's resourced, might get pulled suddenly. Don’t ignore financial instability or avoid necessary conversations about obligations.
Taurus Rising
Full Moon in your 7th house, Uranus in the 1st.
You versus them. This could be a sudden turn in a relationship, contract, or negotiation. You may feel forced to prioritize your autonomy. Don’t cling to peacekeeping if it’s masking resentment or imbalance.
Gemini Rising
Full Moon in your 6th house, Uranus in the 12th.
Work, health, or obligations may become unsustainable. Burnout, unexpected shifts in routine, or exposure of behind-the-scenes dysfunction. You’ll need to change your schedule or your standards to stay ahead of it.
Cancer Rising
Full Moon in your 5th house, Uranus in the 11th.
Creative projects, romance, or matters involving children may reach a breaking point. You could feel exposed or challenged publicly. Don’t expect support from the group. Focus on what you can control creatively or emotionally.
Leo Rising
Full Moon in your 4th house, Uranus in the 10th.
Home and family pressures collide with public demands or authority figures. Something private may be forced into the open. Control what you can inside your space, but expect instability in reputation or career matters.
Virgo Rising
Full Moon in your 3rd house, Uranus in the 9th.
Disruption in communication, contracts, or close networks. Travel plans, publishing, or legal matters may clash with local obligations. Don’t try to hold all the pieces, focus on what’s immediately in front of you.
Libra Rising
Full Moon in your 2nd house, Uranus in the 8th.
This is about what’s yours versus what’s owed. A financial or value-based disruption is likely. Pay close attention to how someone else’s instability might affect your security. Don’t loan what you can’t afford to lose.
Scorpio Rising
Full Moon in your 1st house, Uranus in the 7th.
You’re the one under pressure. A partner’s unexpected move or change in dynamic forces you to adapt. This could be the end of a cycle involving identity, autonomy, or visibility. Move with intention, not reaction.
Sagittarius Rising
Full Moon in your 12th house, Uranus in the 6th.
Hidden stress surfaces. This is the kind of lunation that brings mental or emotional overload after trying to hold too much together. A health or work disruption might pull you out of your usual rhythm. Rest isn’t optional.
Capricorn Rising
Full Moon in your 11th house, Uranus in the 5th.
Public pressure or group dynamics clash with something personal, creative, romantic, or related to children. A shift in your audience or affiliations may reveal where you’ve been compromising too much. Don’t chase approval.
Aquarius Rising
Full Moon in your 10th house, Uranus in the 4th.
Career, reputation, or leadership decisions are under fire. A domestic or family issue could create instability in your public role. Keep your professional reactions sharp. Eyes are on you, even if you’re being pulled apart privately.
Pisces Rising
Full Moon in your 9th house, Uranus in the 3rd.
A clash between belief systems and lived reality. Travel, legal, or publishing matters could hit unexpected snags. You may be challenged to stand by your perspective, without isolating others in the process.
